Here&#039;s some shadow:  &quot;Any fool can start a fast, it takes a wise man to know when to end one.&quot;  I agree with most all you have shared.  On the other hand I find many people asking me for advice on fasting as a short cut to health and connection.  I tell them that doing one of the more popular, intensive fasts without working up to it is equivalent to pressure washing one&#039;s face.  Don&#039;t know why but I crack myself up with that one
