There’s a part of me that is… beautiful. A part that is ugly. A part that is mean. A part that is forgiving. A part that blames. A part that is accepting. A part that judges. A part that is courageous. A part that is a coward. A part that is passionate. A part that is lazy. A part that is bright. A part that is a pervert. A part that is demented. A part that is deranged. A part that is fat. A part that is thin. A part that is intelligent. A part that is dumb. A part that is silly. A part that is serious. A part that is healthy. A part that is sick. A part that is kind. A part that is spiritual. A part that is an atheist. A part that is a leader. A part that is a follower. A past that is conscious. A part that is egotistical. A part that is twisted. A part that is perverted. A part that is intelligent. A part that is humble. A part that is appreciative. A part that is ungrateful. A part that is trusting. A part that is fearful. A part that is confident. A part that is doubtful. A part that is wealthy. A part that is poor. A part that is white. A part that is black. A part that is non-violent. A part that is a murderer. A part that is powerful. A part that is weak. A part that is considerate. A part that is obnoxious. A part that is broken. A part that is whole. A part that is peaceful. A part that is anxious. A part that is generous. A part that is greedy. A part that is giving. A part that is selfish. A part of me that is open. A part that is closed. A part that is sensitive. A part that is cold. A part that is allowing. A part that is controlling. A part that is compassionate. A part that is apathetic. A part that is awake. A part that is asleep. A part that is conscious. A part that is ignorant. A part that is curious. A part that is aloof. A part that is artist. A part that is a musician. A part that is homeless. A part that is lonely. A part that is alone. A part that is passive. A part that is aggressive. A part that is exciting. A pat that is angry. A part that is peaceful. A part that is a criminal. A part that is boring. A part that is gay. A part that is straight. A part that is old. A part that is young. A part that is male. A part that is female. A part that is Catholic. A part that is Jewish. A part that is American. A part that is African. There’s a part of me that is…

I love your post, Patrick. Your writing reflects the fact that we are holograms, each containing all of the whole. I think that everything exists in us all the time, but our thoughts and our vibration determines what gets “activated”.
Thanks KB.
Hi Patrick. Valerie Tate told me about your site a few months ago, as fasting has been an interest of mine for a long time, and I’ve been checking in ever since. I love your thoughts and insights. Thank you for sharing and putting yourself out there so that all may be blessed.
Hello Anissa. What a beautiful name! Thanks for the compliment. I truly appreciate it. I am honored that you take the time to read my writings.
Be Well,
Patrick
Patrick,
That was very beautiful and something I strive for daily,,,not judging. It is great to be reminded of who we really are. What are the retreats and dates you are having this year? I need some renewal soon!
Hugs,
Janet
I loved this one. I love the perspective and the simplicity of it. Payton is playing with the fat part of my belly right now. Part of me is irritated and part of me thinks its cute! It’s refreshing that’s its not all black or all white but both.
Thank you for describing me.
Daniela
Aloha Brother- Just got here. Know Thailand well and much of what you speak. We use some of the same analogies. Here’s some shadow: “Any fool can start a fast, it takes a wise man to know when to end one.” I agree with most all you have shared. On the other hand I find many people asking me for advice on fasting as a short cut to health and connection. I tell them that doing one of the more popular, intensive fasts without working up to it is equivalent to pressure washing one’s face. Don’t know why but I crack myself up with that one
Blessings, Shaun
Hey Shaun,
I couldn’t agree more. I love that analogy. I’ll have to quote the qi ganster on that.
