AYAHUASCA IMMERSIONS – view upcoming dates here.
This extended Ayahuasca Immersion is an opportunity to work with the grandmother and grandfather (masculine and feminine) master plant teachers of the Amazon in a safe, effective and responsible way.
There is a relationship that unfolds with the plants and this relationship deepens the more the two of you meet. Although one ceremony can be extremely beneficial, bringing tremendous healing and insight, it is often difficult to fully let go and open to the medicine, especially if it is your first time. The Immersion format is offered to give yourself the necessary time and space to open and let go of any internal fear or resistance so the medicines can fully share their gifts with you.
Note: Please read through all information thoroughly before registering. Thank you.
This 5 day Immersion will take place in a quiet, nature-immersed cabin in the south of Holland where they have been held now for over 3 years. (see pics above) They are led by Brother with support provided by his partners Inge, Gita and Guido. Brother has over 15 years experience holding retreats and 8 years of working with plant medicines while living in the Sacred Valley of Peru and more recently, the Netherlands. He is well versed in working with the situations and energies that arise within ceremony and facilitating a clear space that supports the healing and awakening process.
Understanding the importance of creating a safe, comfortable and loving space, every effort is made to make sure this is provided. Additionally, we only invite 7 participants, enabling personal attention for each individual as needed.
The first two days of the Immersion will be evening ceremonies, working with the grandmother medicine, Ayahuasca. On the third day, time and space is provided for the work to start integrating and grounding itself. The fourth day, we will continue with the integration of our work with the grandfather medicine, Huachuma (San Pedro). Then on the final day, we take with us what we have experienced, along with the post-Immersion instructions, and re-enter the world as we head back home. (See “schedule” tab for more details)
The ceremonies are guided by mantras & medicine songs from different traditions, icaros from the jungle and silence; all with the intention of personal healing, awakening & transformation. The Ayahuasca served comes directly from a family of brew makers in the Peruvian jungle. It’s prayer-filled, with only the vine and chakruna. Nothing else mixed in. The Huachuma is mindfully prepared in the Sacred Valley of Peru. Rapé and Sananga, two other medicines from the Yawanawa tribes of Brazil, will also be available and utilized throughout the Immersion.
Travel:
Pickups will be scheduled from the Eindhoven train station on the day the Immersion begins. If you are traveling from abroad, you will want to fly into Amsterdam or Eindhoven. If coming into Amsterdam, you will need to take a train to Eindhoven central station (about 1.5 hours). The trains to Eindhoven are located directly in the Amsterdam airport, running every 30 minutes or so and you can purchse your tickets once your flight lands. If you fly direct into Eindhoven, you will take the shuttle bus to the Eindhoven train station (about 15 minutes).
Please make sure your travel is booked and you are in Eindhoven by 2pm at the latest on the day the Immersion begins. You will want to schedule your return flight on the final day, anytime after 10am from Eindhoven or 12pm from Amsterdam and we will make sure you are there on time.
Note: Please be sure not to book your flight earlier than these times as it will cause transportation issues in getting you back for your flight.
If you are driving, let us know and we will give you the address the week of the Immersion.
Cost: 690€
This exchange is for all ceremonies and healing work throughout the Immersion, 4 nights accommodation at the cabin, food, and transport to and from Eindhoven train station if necessary. We do not charge for the medicine and there are no other required costs. Once your registration is accepted, a deposit will be requested to reserve your place.
Note: Although a financial exchange is necessary, you are encouraged not to make it the reason you do or do not come to an Immersion. If you feel strongly about attending, but being able to make the payment is a concern, write to us and let us know. Together we will find a way.
This schedule is to give you an idea of how the week will unfold. The Immersions are not run by a schedule or times, but instead guided by the experience and what arises throughout.

The following recommendations are suggestions of The Fasting Path, based on their own personal experiences and guidelines from the native Peruvian Ayahuasca tradition. These are offered to assist you in receiving the most from your experience and to ensure the safety of yourself and that of the other participants.
You will want to prepare yourself mentally for a 6 week journey, 4 weeks prior and 2 weeks after the Immersion. Please take these suggestions to heart as doing so will impact your experience significantly.
Preparations:
- Read about plant medicines here.
- Connect deeply with your intention/motivation for the work.
- Practice the awareness meditation daily. (Sent to you prior to the Immersion)
- 4 weeks before and 2 weeks after:
- No red meat or pork
- No antidepressants, SSRI’s and mood stabilizers (please see the “Drugs to be Avoided” page and be sure to have informed us of any medications you may be taking)
- 1 week before and 1 week after:
- No dairy products (fresh, organic eggs are fine)
- No meat (fresh water, white fish is fine)
- No processed foods (bags, boxes or cans)
- No added sugars (small amounts of honey is ok)
- Minimal salt & spices
- No hot, spicy foods
- No fermented foods

- No alcohol, caffeine or other street drugs (If you smoke marijuana or drink alcohol, please read our view of their effects on the “Drugs to be Avoided” page)
- No carbonated drinks (herbal teas and water is ideal)
- All other medications stopped
- Avoid non-tantric sex (including masturbation) to retain your vital energies.
- Preparations – Mind & Spirit
- What makes working with plant medicines different than any other path of personal and spiritual development is that there is no external teacher. The work with the plant medicines holds within it a great potential for a life-altering and transformative experience. However, the potential of the experience is limited by the mindset one brings. Having a humble heart and a clear mind, with a strong intention/motivation for working with the medicine directs the experience and lends to the depth and transformational power of your work together.
If you have any questions regarding these suggestions, please let us know.
